System Logic

The WACM directly sends a charge status message over the HS-CAN3 to the APIM. The signal the APIM receives from the WACM includes information about the state of the WACM : Charging Not In Progress, Charging In Progress, Metal Object Detected. These are used for the center display messages.

The WACM has a cooling fan that cools the module while a device is charging. The cooling fan is integral to the WACM and cannot be serviced separately.
