Pinpoint Test P: The SELECTABLE Drive Mode Feature Is Inoperative
- Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
When 1 of the 3 selectable drive modes is chosen by the driver, the FCIM sends a message to the GWM over the HS-CAN3 indicating the mode selected. The GWM relays this message to the ABS module, the GSM, the PSCM, the PCM, the SOBDM, and the VDM.
If there is a DTC present in one or more of the modules or an error in the CAN, the system defaults to the Normal drive mode and cannot be changed.
In the case of a system error, the instrument cluster displays messages and icons.
