Adjuster Plug: Disassembly
- Using a screwdriver, carefully remove thrust bearing retainer. Discard retainer. Remove thrust bearing spacer, thrust bearing and bearing races. Remove and discard adjuster plug "O" ring.
- Remove snap ring. Remove and discard dust seal. Pry oil seal from adjuster plug and discard seal. Inspect bearing. By pressing out from spacer end, remove bearing (if necessary). See Figure .
