Voltmeter Is Inaccurate

Turn ignition on. Measure voltage across battery terminals. If reading is same as vehicle voltmeter, gauge is okay. If reading is not same as vehicle's voltmeter, check instrument cluster connector Pink/Black and Black wires for open circuit. If circuits are okay, replace voltmeter.
