Clearing DTC

NOTE: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) can also be cleared in READ DTCS option of DRB. To ensure that all faults are read, it is advisable to use READ DTCS option to erase fault codes. See DRB DIAGNOSTIC MODE under ENTERING ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS.

If DRB is not available, fault codes may be cleared by disconnecting negative battery cable for at least 15 seconds, allowing PCM to clear fault codes.
