Transmission Overdrive Switch (A/T Models)

- Switch is mounted in instrument panel and is in the electrical circuit with overdrive solenoid and Powertrain Control Module (PCM). When switch is on, voltage flows through the switch to overdrive solenoid for overdrive operation.
- When switch is off, the switch overrides the PCM, preventing overdrive operation. When ignition is turned off, switch will reset to the ON position, so overdrive operation is restored.
