Installation Procedure

  1. Install the cruise control servo cable (4) to the servo lever (1).
  2. Install the cruise control cable (4) to the bracket. Secure the cable with the screw (5).

  4. Install the cruise control servo cover (1) by applying slight downward pressure to the cover until the tabs (2) lock.

  6. Install the cruise control cable (2) to the throttle lever (3).

    Opening the throttle lever by hand will aide in the installation of the cruise control cable.

  7. Install the cruise control cable (2) to accelerator cable bracket.
  8. Install the cruise control cable to the cable guide clips.
  9. Adjust the cable adjusting locknuts to allow slight freedom of movement between the cruise control cable and the throttle lever.
  10. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  11. Secure the cruise control cable locknuts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the cruise control cable adjusting locknuts to 6 N.m (52 lb in).
