Removal Procedure

- Remove the moveable roof panel. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the moveable roof panel bracket. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Guide Bracket Replacement .
- Remove the moveable roof panel actuator/motor. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Motor/Actuator Replacement .
- Slide the movable roof panel guide (1) forward in the moveable roof frame assembly.
- Remove the moveable roof panel rear locator. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Locator Replacement - Rear .
- Remove the moveable roof panel latch spring. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Latch Spring Replacement - Rear .
- Slide the roof panel guide (1) rearward, until the roof panel support slide (2) is clear of the movable roof panel frame.
- Remove the roof panel support slide (2) from the roof panel guide (1).
- Slide the roof panel guide (2) rearward, until it stops at the end of the movable roof frame assembly.
- Slide the front latch assembly (1) rearward until it stops.
- Slide the roof panel guide and cable assembly (1) out of the channel of the removable roof panel frame assembly (2).
- Remove the roof panel guide from the vehicle.

When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.
