Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: If one battery requires replacement, the other batteries also are to be replaced.

Remove the generator battery temperature sensor wiring harness. Refer to Generator Battery Temperature Sensor Wiring Harness Replacement .
Remove the generator battery nuts (1-4) from the battery cables.

Remove the generator battery cables (1-4) from the batteries.

Remove the generator battery bolts.
Remove the generator battery.

If required, remove the generator battery temperature sensor from the battery.
