July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Throttle Body: Installation

NOTE: EVAP canister may have released carbon particles which could cause damage to throttle body and/or other components. Check EVAP canister for loose carbon. See EVAP SYSTEM CLEANING  under EMISSION SYSTEMS & SUB-SYSTEMS.

Clean gasket surface on intake manifold and throttle body. Install NEW flange gasket. Install throttle body assembly. Install throttle body bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.



Clean gasket surface on intake manifold and throttle body. Install throttle body assembly using NEW flange gasket. Install throttle body studs and air cleaner outlet duct adapter stud and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Before starting vehicle, ensure throttle and cruise control linkage does not bind or hold throttle open.
