Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fan blade to the fan clutch.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  2. Install the fan blade mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  3. Install the fan clutch assembly using the J 46406  . See Special Tools .

    Tighten:  Tighten the fan clutch to 56 N.m (40 lb ft).

  4. Install the upper fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
