Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the cooling fan pulley. Refer to Cooling Fan Pulley Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor bolt.
3. Remove the CMP sensor.



Installation Procedure





1. Lubricate the CMP sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.
2. Install the CMP sensor.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution) .

3. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

4. Install the cooling fan pulley. Refer to Cooling Fan Pulley Replacement (Service and Repair) .
