Installation Procedure
- Generator (4) - Install
- If previously removed, install and tighten the generator mounting stud to 9 N.m (80 lb in).CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
- Generator Nut (2) - Hand tighten
- Electrical Connector (3) - Connect
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Starter Solenoid Cable (2) - Install
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Generator Nut (1) - Remove
- Generator Shield (3) - Install - Generator Shield Replacement (LTG) .
- Drive Belt (1) - Install - Drive Belt Replacement .
- Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9) .
