Preliminary Procedures
- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LCV, LGX) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 LCV, LGX) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LSY) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 LSY)
- Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector - Disconnect
- Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LCV, LGX) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 LCV, LGX) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LSY) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716 LSY)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
