Installation Procedure

  1. Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.

  2. Fuel Tank (1) - Install
  3. Fuel Tank Strap (2) - Install [2x]

    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Install [4x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Hose (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  6. Fuel Pump Fuel Feed Hose (1) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  7. Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Hose (4) Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  8. Fuel Tank Filler Hose (3) Install
  9. Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (2) Install 4 N.m (35 lb in)
  10. Wiring Harness (1) Connect
  11. Driveline Torque Tube - Install - Driveline Torque Tube Replacement
  12. Refill the fuel tank.
  13. Inspect for fuel leaks.
