Vacuum Pump Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the intake manifold cover. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Disconnect the camshaft position sensor wiring harness. Disconnect the wiring harness retainer from the vacuum pump and position aside. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump. Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
1	Vacuum Pump Fasteners (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Vacuum Pump NOTE: Inspect the vacuum pump seal and replace as necessary. Procedure Lubricate the vacuum pump seal with clean engine oil. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
3	Vacuum Pump Gasket Procedure Inspect the vacuum pump gasket and replace as necessary.
