Installation Procedure
Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle (2) - Install
- Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

Install the 2 wires (1) into the connector (2) as noted during removal. Terminal Removal

High Mount Stop Lamp (2) - Install
- Rear Closure Signal Lamp Nut (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

Connect the electrical connector. (1)
- Install the left side pickup box endgate access hole cover panel (2).

Rear Closure Fixed Handle Applique (1) - Install
- Rear Closure Center Applique Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
The pickup box endgate molding (1) and the surface should be 21°C (70°F) prior to installation. The vehicle should remain at 21°C (70°F) for one hour after assembly to allow adhesive to develop sufficient bond strength.
- When removing protective liners from the adhesive tape, be careful not to touch tape with hands and do not allow tape to come in contact with dirt or any foreign matter prior to adhesion.
- Pickup Box Endgate Molding (1) - Install
- NOTE:

Pickup Box Endgate Inner Panel Access Hole Plug (1) - Install [4x]

NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate Step (2) - Install
- Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate Hinge Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten - [4x] Fastener Specifications
- Close the pickup box auxiliary endgate step.
