Component Testing
- Vehicle Off.
- Ensure the Battery Charger Coupler Lock is in the UNLOCKED position.
- Test for 900 to 1100 ohms between the test points: Signal circuit terminal X2-10 & Low Reference circuit terminal X2-11
- If not within specified range
Replace the component: X98 Battery Charger Coupler
- Go to next step: If within the specified range
- If not within specified range
- Connect the electrical connector: X98 Battery Charger Coupler
- Vehicle On
- Perform the scan tool control function: Battery Charger Coupler Lock - Close
- Ensure the Battery Charger Coupler Lock is in the LOCKED position.
- Vehicle Off.
- Disconnect the electrical connector: X98 Battery Charger Coupler
- Test for 10400 to 11600 ohms between the test points: Signal circuit terminal X2-10 & Low Reference circuit terminal X2-11
- If not within specified range
Replace the component: X98 Battery Charger Coupler
- Go to next step: If within the specified range
- If not within specified range
- All OK.
NOTE:
Circuit/System Testing must be performed before proceeding with Component Testing.
NOTE:
The following tests are to be performed on the X98 Battery Charger Coupler not the harness connector.
