Installation Procedure

Install the power steering control module wiring power harness.

Install the power steering control module wiring power harness clip (2) to the electric belt drive rack and pinion steering gear housing.
Connect the power steering control module wiring power harness (1) to the power steering assist motor.

Connect the power steering control module wiring power harness (2) to the main power steering wiring harness (1).

Position the power steering control module wiring power harness (1) into the 2 retaining clips (2).

{without NZZ} Install the steering gear skid shield:
1. Steering Gear Skid Shield (2) - Install
2. Steering Gear Skid Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - FASTENER SPECIFICATIONS

{with NZZ} Install the underbody skid shield:
1. Underbody Skid Shield (2) - Install
2. Underbody Skid Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - FASTENER SPECIFICATIONS

Install the underbody splash shield:
1. Underbody Splash Shield (2) - Install
2. Underbody Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - FASTENER SPECIFICATIONS

{If equipped} Retainer Clip (1) - Install
Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
