Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the resonator and the air intake hose.
(Refer to INTAKE & EXHAUST SYSTEM - 5.0L Engine Mechanical System )
- Disconnect the ETC module connector (A).
- Disconnect the coolant hoses (B).
- Remove the installation bolts (A), and then remove the ETC module (B) from the engine.
