Repair Procedures: Removal

[Bank 1/Sensor 1] 

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Lift the vehicle.
  3. Remove the rear under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  4. Remove the front muffler [RH].

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "MUFFLER ")

  5. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (A).

  6. Remove the heated oxygen sensor (C) with the spanner after lifting.

[Bank 1/Sensor 2] 

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Lift the vehicle.
  3. Remove the rear under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  4. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (A).

  5. Remove the heated oxygen sensor (A).

[Bank 2/Sensor 1] 

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Lift the vehicle.
  3. Remove the rear under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  4. Remove the front muffler [LH].

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "MUFFLER ")

  5. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (A).

  6. Remove the heated oxygen sensor (C) with the spanner after lifting.

[Bank 2/Sensor 2] 

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Lift the vehicle.
  3. Remove the rear under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  4. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (A).

  5. Remove the heated oxygen sensor (A).
