July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Open Check

  1. IG "OFF".
  2. Disconnect FPCM and PCM (ECM) connector.
  3. Measure resistance between P-CAN HIGH terminal (LOW terminal) of the FPCM harness connector and P-CAN HIGH terminal (LOW terminal) of the PCM (ECM) harness connector.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1Ω

  4. Is the measured value within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Repair open in P-CAN BUS line between FPCM harness connector and PCM (ECM) harness connector and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
