Monitor DTC Status
- Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch and start the engine.
- Warm up the engine to the normal operating temperature.
- Read the "DTC State" parameter.
Clear the DTC and see if the same DTC returns.
- Is the DTC State "Present"?
YES
- Replace the AWD ECM with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the AWD ECM.
- Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
* After replacing the AWD ECU, perform the "Back-up and enter the 4WD learnt value_ECU replacement" on the optional menu.
NO
- The fault can be intermittent. Or, the AWD system's memory was not cleared after repair. Clear the DTC and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
