Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")

  2. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion.

    (Refer to Body - "REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER ")

  4. Remove the sub fuel sender service cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

  5. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector (A).
  6. Disconnect the sub fuel sender connector (B).

  7. Remove the locking ring (B) by using the special service tool (A) [No.: 09310-B91100].
    NOTE:
    • When removing the plate cover, be careful not to damage the fuel tank and fuel pump.
    • When removing the plate cover, press the upper area with hand and rotate the wrench counter clockwise.

  8. Disconnect the quick-connector (A).

  9. Remove the sub fuel sender (A).
