Repair Procedures: Installation

- After inserting, turn the stop switch (A) 45° clockwise.
- Assemble the locking plate (A) by pushing it as indicated by the arrow.
- Confirm the gap (A) between stop lamp switch and bracket.
Stop lamp clearance: 0.7 - 1.7 mm (0.03 - 0.07 in.)
- If the gap between stop lamp switch and bracket is less than 0.7 - 1.7 mm (0.03 - 0.07 in.), check the mounting clip and other parts around the stop lamp. If normal, remove the stop lamp switch and then install again.
- Connect the stop lamp switch connector.
- Install the knee airbag.

- Install the lower crash pad.

- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
