Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the trunk luggage side trim [RH].

    (Refer to Body - "TRUNK TRIM ")

  3. Disconnect the connector

  4. Remove the ECS control unit by loosening the mounting nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the ECU bracket.
