Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the front seat shield outer cover.
  2. Remove the side set cover (A), after removing the screws.

  3. Disconnect the airbag connector (A).

  4. Remove the airbag connector wiring clips (A).

  5. Disconnect the seat belt buckle connector (A).

  6. Remove the seat belt buckle wiring clips (A).

  7. Remove the seat belt buckle (A), after removing the bolt.

    Tightening torque:  39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

  8. Remove the seat anchor (A), after removing the bolt.

    Tightening torque:  39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

  9. Disconnect the ventilaton blower connector (A).

  10. Disconnect the rear height motor connector (A).

  11. Disconnect the front height motor connector (A).

  12. Disconnect the slide motor connector (A).

  13. Remove the mood lamp (A).

  14. Remove the seat cushion heater wiring connector (A).

  15. Remove the outer shield cover wiring clip (A).

  16. Separate the front seat under cover (A), after removing the screws.

  17. Remove the seat cushion main wiring clip (A).

  18. Move the front seat under cover (A) in the direction of the arrow.

  19. Remove the rear height motor link cap (A).

  20. Remove the rear height motor link bolt (A).

    Tightening torque:  19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.7 lb-ft)

  21. Tightening torque:  44.1 - 58.8 N.m (4.5 - 6.0 kgf.m, 32.5 - 43.4 lb-ft)
