KICKDOWN Cable: Tracker
- Ensure accelerator cable is adjusted correctly. Loosen kickdown cable lock nut and adjusting nut. See Fig 1. Depress accelerator pedal fully and hold in this position.
- Pull kickdown cable in "A" direction. See Fig 1. Adjust lock nut-to-bracket clearance to 0-.039" (0-1 mm) by turning lock nut. When adjusting clearance, lock nut must NOT contact bracket.
- Release accelerator pedal. Keeping lock nut in place, adjust lock nut-to-bracket clearance to 0-.039" (0-1 mm) by turning ADJUSTING nut. When clearance is correct, tighten lock nut securely.
