Test 2
- If charge indicator light is off when ignition is on and engine is not running, disconnect 2-wire alternator connector. Ground White/Red wire (terminal "L") with a fused jumper wire. See Figure.
- If charge indicator light comes on, replace regulator. If charge indicator light remains off, repair open in White/Red wire between alternator terminal "L" and charge indicator light.
