Chart 9B-1 - Cruise Indicator Light Does Not Glow: Notes

Voltage is supplied to the CRUISE indicator light through the GAUGE fuse whenever ignition switch is in ON position. A ground is provided to CRUISE indicator light when CCM receives an on signal from cruise control switch.

1. Checks for voltage through CRUISE indictor light to CCM.
2. Checks CCM ground circuit.
3. Checks for voltage to cruise indicator light.
4. Checks for ignition voltage at CCM.
5. Determines if fault is in wiring to instrument cluster.
6. Determines if fault is in wiring or in junction block 1 or 3.
7. Checks CCM memory power circuit.
8. Checks CCM battery power circuit.
9. Checks CCM cruise on/off circuit.
10. Checks for an open White/Blue or Red wire and for a faulty Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) coil assembly.
11. Checks for open Brown or White/Black wire, faulty cruise control switch or faulty SRS coil assembly.
