Steering Column: Notes
CAUTION:
Steering column is easily damaged once it has been removed from vehicle. If steering column is dropped on its end or hit with a hammer, steering shaft may collapse or plastic injections may be loosened. Side pressure to or leaning on steering column could cause it to bend and/or deform. Allowing steering column to be supported by only lower support bracket could cause damage to steering column lower bearing adapter.
