Shift Control Cable

- Set parking brake. Move gearshift lever to Neutral. Loosen inner and outer lock nuts. See Fig 1. Ensure transaxle control lever is in Neutral. Tighten outer lock nut by hand until it contacts control lever.
- Using a wrench, tighten inner lock nut. Ensure transaxle operates in all gear positions. Ensure vehicle will not move with ignition switch in LOCK position, and transaxle gearshift lever in Park. Ensure correct operation in other gearshift positions.
