Cruise Control Module (CCM)

Cruise Control Module (CCM) is located on left side of instrument panel next to parking brake pedal. CCM receives 4 different types of input signals which include on/off, speed control, throttle position and cancel. Output signals from CCM are all sent to actuator and vary depending upon input signal. If vehicle speed is less than selected speed, an output signal is sent to open side of actuator. If vehicle speed has increased to more than selected speed, an output signal is sent to close side of actuator. If a cancel input signal is received, CCM de-energizes magnetic clutch within actuator disengaging worm gear and DC servomotor.
