Circuit Description

Barometric pressure sensor reading is displayed from PCM with ignition on, engine is off and at Wide Open Throttle (WOT). Barometric pressure sensor represents barometric pressure and is used to compensate for altitude changes. DTC P1450 will set when:

• During PCM input range check, barometric pressure is less than 4.8 psi (.34 kg/cm² ) with ignition on and engine cranked for 2 seconds.
• During PCM input range check, barometric pressure is 19.6 psi (1.4 kg/cm² ) or more with ignition on and engine cranked for 2 seconds.
