Electric Fuel Pump

The fuel pump is a direct drive type mounted in fuel tank. When ignition is first turned on, ECU supplies a ground circuit for main relay for about 2 seconds. When relay is energized, power is transmitted to fuel pump. When an RPM signal is received by ECU (cranking or running), ECU provides a constant ground circuit for main relay.
