Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Control Solenoid

ECU controls ground circuit to EGR solenoid to regulate flow of recirculated exhaust gases into intake system. Accord models also utilize an EGR valve lift sensor. This allows ECU to not only control EGR function, but to monitor it and set a trouble code (code 12) if a malfunction occurs.
