A/T Idle Control Solenoid Valve

With transmission selector in any position (except "P" or "N"), idle speed will tend to be lower. To compensate for this, valve opens to maintain specified idle speed (700-800 RPM) by allowing additional air to by-pass throttle valve into intake manifold.
