Intake Air Temperature Sensor (Ta)

The TA sensor is a thermistor that is placed in the intake manifold. It acts much like the coolant temperature sensor but with a reduced thermal capacity for quicker responses. Basic discharge duration read out from ECU memory is compensated for due to (different operating conditions) signal sent from TA sensor to ECU.
