1. Inspect blower motor for damages and its wire harness for cracks or breaks. Repair as necessary and retest. If ok, proceed to next step.
2. Disconnect wire harness from transistor. Remove the light green/blue lead from connector and connect a 1.2-3.4 watt test lamp as shown in Fig. 30. Then, reconnect wire harness to transistor.
3. Turn ignition switch to the on position. If blower motor operates (test lamp lights), controller is faulty. Replace and retest. If blower motor does not operate (test lamp does not light), the power transistor is faulty. Replace and retest.
