Idle Mixture Adjuster (IMA) Sensor

This sensor is used on Civic models without oxygen sensor or catalytic converter. The primary function of this sensor is to maintain correct air/fuel ratio at idle or when an injector is replaced. The IMA sensor is mounted on ECU on Civic. This sensor maintains correct air/fuel ratio at idle. Turning adjuster changes voltage signal to ECU, which in turn alters fuel discharge duration. Sensor on Civic models is adjusted and sealed at factory to prevent tampering.
