  1. Connect system checker harness between ECU and ECU connectors. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between terminal A12 (pos.) and B8 (neg.). If battery voltage is not present, go to step 4).
  2. If battery voltage is present, depress clutch pedal and again measure voltage as in step 1). If battery voltage is not present, clutch switch is functioning properly.
  3. If battery voltage is present with clutch pedal depressed, turn ignition off. Disconnect clutch switch 2-wire connector. Check for continuity between 2 clutch switch terminals while depressing and releasing clutch. If continuity does not fluctuate between zero and infinity, replace clutch switch.
  4. If battery voltage was not present in step 1), turn ignition off. Disconnect 2-wire clutch switch connector. Check for continuity between 2 clutch switch terminals while depressing and releasing clutch. If continuity does not fluctuate between zero and infinity, replace clutch switch.
  5. If continuity does fluctuate, turn ignition on. Measure voltage between Pink clutch switch wire and ground. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in Pink wire between ECU terminal A12 and clutch switch. If battery voltage is present, repair open in Black wire between clutch switch and ground.
