July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Actuator Testing

  1. Disconnect actuator 4-pin connector. Ensure output linkage moves smoothly. Using jumper wires, connect terminal "D" to battery positive terminal and terminal "A" to battery negative terminal.
  2. Check for a "clicking" sound of actuator magnetic clutch and that output linkage is locked. If output linkage is not locked, replace actuator assembly.
  3. With actuator in specified position, check output linkage position. See Fig 1 . If actuator motor position is not as specified, replace actuator.
