Caster Adjustment: Prelude

  1. Compare caster settings with vehicle manufacturer recommendations. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS . If caster needs adjustment, loosen lock nut on end of radius (strut) rod. Adjust caster by turning radius rod adjuster in to increase or out to decrease caster.
  2. Turning adjuster one full turn changes caster 0.33 degree (20 minutes). Hold radius rod adjuster and tighten lock nut. Recheck caster.
