Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

Electronic Control (ECU) Unit:

1. Remove the right door sill molding.
2. Remove the small cover on the right kick panel.
3. Pull the passenger's side carpet back to expose the ECU.`

NOTE: Be sure the ignition key is turned off before disconnecting the wire harness from the ECU.

4. Unbolt the ECU bracket and remove the ECU wire harness.
5. Remove ECU.
6. Reverse procedure to install replacement unit.
