Programmed Fuel Injection

Programmed fuel injection system is controlled by Powertrain Control Module (PCM). See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) in COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS. The basic fuel injector duration is built into PCM memory. The PCM modifies basic injector duration according to input signals from various sensors to obtain final injector duration for fuel delivery.
