Slip Ring: Notes

NOTE: Airbag equipped vehicles are equipped with a cable reel. Non-airbag vehicles are equipped with a slip ring. For air bag equipped vehicles, cable reel testing procedures are incorporated into SET/RESUME switch testing. See SET/RESUME SWITCH under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING . On all non-airbag equipped vehicles except 1991 Civic and 1991 Prelude, slip ring testing procedures are incorporated into SET/RESUME switch testing. See SET/RESUME SWITCH under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
