Description & Operation: Notes
A 2-piece safety steering column with slip-joint flange connection is used. Steering column is supported by a column tube and steering lock assembly. Models may be equipped with driver's side air bag.
WARNING:
To avoid injury from accidental air bag deployment, read and carefully follow all SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Deactivate air bag restraint system before performing any steering column repairs. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM
