- Ensure throttle cable free play is within specification. See THROTTLE BODY CABLE ADJUSTING SPECIFICATION . Ensure engine is at normal operating temperature and idle speed is correct. See ADJUSTMENTS

- Adjust A/T throttle control cable when control drum is not synchronized with throttle body linkage. After adjustment, ensure some play exists in throttle control lever when accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
