Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Lift Sensor

EGR valve lift sensor detects amount of EGR valve lift and sends this information to PCM. PCM compares this information with optimal EGR valve lift value stored in memory and information from other sensor inputs. If there is a difference, PCM reduces vacuum to EGR valve by deactivating EGR control solenoid valve.
