Security Control Unit

Remove driver's side lower dash cover and knee bolster. Locate Green 22-pin security control unit connector to right of steering column. Unplug connector from security control unit. Using a DVOM, perform input tests. See Fig 1 .
Connect security control unit connector. Perform the next input test. See Fig 2 . If all input test results are okay, inspect connector and terminals for damage and proper fit. If connector is okay and security system still malfunctions, replace security control unit.
